Continuing with the successive expansion of its wireless device range, Holtek is delighted to announce the release of its new 2.4GHz MCU device range. With a host of MCU features coupled with a 2.4GHz transceiver, these new devices are destined to increase the market competitiveness of 2.4GHz products. The integrated 2.4GHz RF circuit uses DSSS technology and offers high noise immunity, low power consumption, Auto-Ack function and 250Kbps or 1Mbps Data Rate options.

Holtek HT82K75REW, HT82M75REW, HT82D40REW

These HT82K75REW/HT82M75REW are high speed bidirectional wireless highly integrated devices, fully equipped with an internal DC-DC Converter, a high speed 6MHz oscillator circuit, integrated 2.4GHz RF circuitry, 128 bytes of EEPROM, 160 to 128 bytes of Data Memory and 15 to 31 I/O pins. As for external components, all that is required is a single 32MHz oscillator. This provides a means for product development with a huge reduction of the usual external components such as an LDO and 6MHz oscillator, in the process reducing PCB area and also resulting in lower costs.

The HT82D40REW is a bidirectional wireless device with an integrated USB interface which includes a highly accurate internal 12MHz oscillator thus reducing the need for external oscillator components. In being able to provide a 3.3V voltage source with a 70mA current output capability, the need for an external voltage regulator is eliminated. Including the features of an integrated 2.4GHz RF circuit, 128 bytes of EEPROM, 160 bytes of Data Memory and 9 I/O pins, the device only requires a single external 32MHz oscillator for application implementation. The fully integrated oscillator circuit has achieved successful patent application in both the US and Taiwan and has resulted in substantial increase to its market competitiveness.

This device is suitable for battery powered 2.4GHz wireless keyboard/mouse, remote controllers, wireless presenters, exercise products, consumer product and so on. The HT82K75REW is available in a 64-LQFP pin package while the HT82M75REW is available in a 40-QFN pin package type. All devices are available as customer samples and in volume orders.
